Unseen Oceans at the American Museum of Natural History is an immersive exhibition that uses interactive experiences and media to explore our planet's oceans. Built around a series of circular rooms the exhibit leads visitors through various depths of the oceans and the diverse organisms which populate them. Each section provides viewers with a broad overview of the environments and alcoves that provide granular information on the people, science, and technology/equipment that makes research and exploration in our oceans possible. The exhibit utilizes media experiences, digital and physical interactives, as well as profiles on scientists, and personal testimonies to bring visitors from the surface to the ocean floor.
